Samartex Timber And Plywood Co. Limited will implement its best efforts to avoid trading and sourcing wood from the following categories as a minimum.

Wood from forests where traditional or civil rights are violated.
Forest areas where High Conservation Values (HCV) is threatened.
Wood from genetically modified (GM) trees.
Wood that has been harvested illegally.
Wood is harvested from areas that have been converted from natural forests to plantations or for non-forest uses.
In line with this, we would open up to third-party verification to demonstrate that our forest products are sourced from non - controversial forests.
