FUNDRAISING DURBAR (FC SAMARTEX)

In the quest to qualify for the Premier League, Football Club Samartex 1996 organized a fundraising event, which was climaxed by a durbar on the 13^th of March, 2022 at Samartex Sports Stadium.

This fundraising has become necessary due to the fact Samartex Timber & Plywood Company limited has been the sole sponsor of the Football Club over the years. It is no secret, the enormous cost that comes with the running of a Football club and much more being the favorite to qualify to the Premier League.

The Board & Management of FC Samartex, therefore, called on all supporters, Businessmen, sympathisers, and stakeholders to join the cause of qualification by helping financially to cushion the enormous expenditure that comes with qualification and also create relief for the mother company to focus more on its core business.

The fundraising durbar was graced by the Paramount Chief (Omanhene) Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II

Other dignitaries included MCES, Regional ministry, Business CEOs, Opinion leaders, etc.

Notable during the durbar was a sponsorship deal announced by Amenfiman Rural Bank of GH¢120.000 as one of the sponsors of the football club.

FC Samartex currently sits on top of Division one, Zone 2 table with a clear 9 points margin. SAX WIN! WIN! WIN!!!
