FC Samartex 1996, qualified from Division One to the Premier League after 26 years of the club’s existence.

This was achieved after completing an incredible ascent to the top of the table in zone 2, of the division one national league At the end of the season, FC Samartex sat comfortably at the summit of the table with 68 points

Management of the football club organized a 4-day coronation ceremony/events:

• 10/06/2022 – Thanksgiving at the central Mosque
• 12/06/2022 – Thanksgiving at the Power Control Chapel Samreboi
• 12/06/2022 – Final game of the season at Samartex Sports Stadium against New Edubiase FC; who gave a guard of honor.
• Trophy Outdooring with cultural performance and a poetry recital
• 12/06/2022 – Medal & trophy presentation by Division league 1 FA officials
• This was followed by a thanksgiving Gospel Rock show with celebrated gospel artists like Obaapa Christy, Joyce Blessing, and Oware Junior.
• 14/06/2022 – Trophy tour to Omanehene of Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II
• 15/06/2022 – Trophy tour to Enchi & Asankranqwa
• Musical performance by Ghanaian Singer Mz Vee
• 20/06/2022 – Presentation of trophy to Regional Minister Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko
