Samartex School Celebrates its 10th graduation speech and prize giving day on the 23rd July, 2019.

Activities held were poetry recitals, drama, cultural dances and election of Miss Samartex for the said year.

The 10th graduation ceremony was celebrated on several themes but the main theme was Quality Education, the role of parents and stake holders. Some high profile dignitaries were in attendance, some of which were, Human Resource Manger of Samartex and his deputy, the acting Municipal Director of Education, the Manageress of Amenfiman Rural bank, District Cocoa Officers, District Officer in charge of Children and Social Protection, etc.

In a welcome address, the headmistress of the school Miss Yvonne Ofori-Yeboah, traced the history of the school from its humble beginning to the present day when the school has been consistently maintaining good academic performance thus, both in internal and external examinations, adding that it would not have been possible without the help of Samartex. Co. Ltd, the P.T.A and dedicated Staff.

The special guest, the Human Resource Manager of Samartex, Mr. Thomas Assasie- Gyimah enumerated Sax contribution in Education in the municipal and challenged parents and teachers to be more responsible in the upbringing and education of their wards. He touched on scholarship schemes for pupils who excel with excellent performances.

The guest of honor, in the person of Mr. Ransford Quaidoo, a speech read on his behalf commended the school authority for maintaining a clean and tidy compound and wondered why our environment looks filthy and dry. He advised all present on the benefits of being eco-friendly.

The guest of Honor, that is the acting municipal Director of Education in the person of Mr. Fuakye ,in an address delivered, noted that, discipline was one of the virtue and argued all stakeholders ,civil society organization, religious and traditional leaders as well as government agencies and departments involved in the development of young ones , to work closely together to mould the students to enable them develop their potentials into the next generation of investors ,politicians and nation builders based on discipline.

Awards were presented to deserving pupils, teachers and parents who excelled in various areas.

The program ended with the crowning of Miss SAX and refreshment for the guest and pupils. On a whole it was a very colorful and successful ceremony.
