Samartex Makes Donations To Protect Forest Reserves

On June 8, 2023, Samartex Timber and Plywood Company donated two Nissan Navara vehicles to the Forestry Commission of Ghana in support of the protection of the forest reserves.

 This effort is geared towards forest protection against illegal activities such as illegal mining, chainsaw activities, slash-and-burn farming on reserves, etc.

The donation was made by the Managing Director of Samartex, Mr. Richard Nsenkyire to the Regional Manager (Western North) and Rapid Response Team at the Samartex Management Clubhouse.

In attendance was the General Manager of Samartex Mr. Ransford Quaidoo, the Forestry Regional Manager Mr. Steven Duah, the Head of the Forest Protection Department of Samartex Mr. Samuel Danso, the Assistant Regional Manager Rev. Antwi and Mr. Mark Boampong (Samartex).
