The Ghana West Africa Business Excellence Awards 2023 took place on May 19 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra. The awards ceremony serves as a venue for recognizing people and organizations that make important contributions to the growth of various sectors.
Samartex Timber and Plywood Company was represented by Millicent Aryee-Quaye, Peter Yanzuh, Dorothy E. Bryant, and Nicholas Pronk-Eshun. The event commenced at 7:30 pm with an opening speech given by HRM Nana Safo Boakye Ill, the awarding board chairman.
The category criteria for the awards program included industry merits as well as quality, innovation, market domination, company resilience, customer loyalty, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Samartex Timber and Plywood company was awarded in the category of EXCELLENCE IN CSR AWARD(AGRIBUSINESS).
