Ms. Tina Sprague (nurse from USA) spearheaded the exercise and was assisted by Mr. Emmanuel Manu, anaesthesia from Cape Cost Government Hospital. The two day programme was basically to train workers on CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), after which workers took turns for practical illustration. . In case of emergency with the absence of medical personnel the CPR serves as an effective first aid but to protect lives in order not to cause more harm, the right procedure must be followed, hence bringing in medical personnel for training.
